| Custom made Full Battle Flag display measures 63"x63" This is a piece of Great American History. The flag was flown on the USS Owen during WWII. The left panel starting from the top is pictures of the sailor from the USS Owen with his name carved into the wood, then his original rating badge followed by his Honorable discharge and finally a picture of him on the ship and one of the ship. The right panel starts with an actual Plan of the Day from the ship, then a note from one family member to another concerning the flag, followed by the Battles for the ship and finished off with the ships specifications carved into the wood. |
